About the agreement

Brazil-Japan Collaborative Program on Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering.

This program is a partnership between Brazilian and Japanese universities aimed at educational collaboration in the field of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Courses are taught in English and delivered synchronously online, starting in April and September, and are held in the morning (8:00–9:30 a.m.). Currently, students may take these courses either as extension courses or as graduate-level courses within the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering and Sciences (PosECM).

Applications

As part of the Brazil-Japan Collaborative Program, graduate-level extension courses in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering are offered each semester. These courses are free of charge and taught in English, with classes held synchronously and accessed via a link sent to enrolled students.

All students (undergraduate or graduate) who complete the course will receive a certificate issued by UFSC, which may be used to validate complementary academic activities, in accordance with the rules of their respective degree programs.
